About This Site

January 22nd, 2010

I created this site to showcase myself and my work in this world.  This site is, in itself, one of my works of contribution.  I have started this site in trying to gain a new way of code management.  I have this site and a development one that both work from the same base code but the sites are 100% independent.  This is done using a repository that I have created.  The repository takes advantage of the subversion offering by my current hosting provider.  Since the two sites are already independent; this also means that I can create additional sites based on the same code.  In reality the only thing I have to change is the theme.  The theme I currently am using is called inove and is available at http://www.neoease.com.

I do have some planned changes including the potential addition of a forum for the future.  It is going to be sent up to the development site and available on there while I check out a few things.

Browser and Standards Compatibility
This site is tested and validates for XHTML 1.1 standards coding.  Currently I am testing on Internet Explorer 8+, Opera 10+, Firefox 3.5+, Google Chrome 3+, and Safari 4+.  I am not supporting Internet Explorer 6.  It should work fine on Internet Explorer 7 if it does on 8 for me.  Safari 10+, Firefox 3.5+, and Safari 4+ testing are also valid for Mac OS X 10.6.

P.S. – This site just hit the 100th revision just now since I marked a 1.2 branch for the site right before the forum. ;)
